The Gallery Restaurant at The Ballantyne in Charlotte provides beautiful and delicious American cuisine with a southern twist; Meanwhile, giving a smooth feeling ambience enhanced with an art exhibit from Awaken Gallery. There is a dress code that requires one to wear business casual or nice dress, but no baseball caps. The Gallery is open for breakfast, lunch, weekend brunch and upscale dinner daily and full bar and bar menu. This place is perfect for business meetings because of the private dining room and is exceptional for small gatherings or groups to hold inclusive meetings.

Bechtler Museum of Modern Art

Art doesn’t need music or entertainment to liven it up—it’s all in the imagination. This modern art establishment is the perfect way to get creative juices flowing in speaking to a client about their vision for their company/brand. If anything, an art museum is a perfect place for open dialogue and little to no interruption. The museum is open every day except Tuesdays from 10AM-5PM with Sunday being the only day it opens from 12PM-5PM. For meetings, consider the Bechtler classroom which offers a Wi-Fi connection and access to audio visual equipment.

Charlotte Comedy City (PG-13) Tour

Explore Charlotte’s streets with a tour that highlights the history, architecture and entertainment of the city. As you travel through neighborhoods, such as Uptown, Midwood, and Southwood, amongst many other locations, you will have an opportunity get a taste of Charlotte on an open-air bus with a comedic tour guide. About half-way through there is a quick break which opens an opportunity for conversation with your client, but this experience can be enhance with your own beer and/or wine if need be. No one under the age of 13 is permitted and the duration of the tour is an hour, so it leaves a little more time of interaction after it is all said and done. This is a great way to loosen oneself and the client up for pure fun and sightseeing.

Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden

A garden for all seasons that gives a chance for all visitors to reconnect with Mother Nature and her treasures. The garden offers walking trails, sparkling fountains displays of tropical plants and orchids and so much more. This is a sure fire way to leave an unforgettable experience by marveling at the beauty of the garden and leaves ample room for conversation between you and your client. General hours are from 9AM to 5PM with daytime admission ticket sales and entry end one hour prior to closing.
