Bogues Consulting Group prides itself in the work it has done for clients and businesses alike that trusted the abilities of the team to get the job done. But just as it is important to succeed in the office it is just as important to set the example outside of the office. A famous civil rights leader once said, âLifeâs most persistent and urgent question is, âWhat are you doing for others?ââ. BCG answers by making philanthropy apart of its DNA by using its four pillars, consulting, connecting to the community, creating, and customer service as a mantra for itsâ core values.
The example starts from the top and we first look at how Brittney Bogues efforts to serve others and how she has created something bigger than herself, by using BCG as a mirror to her charitable nature. As the owner of BCG, Bogues volunteers her time and sits on boards with other associations such as: Wake Forest Alumni Association, American Heart Association Charlotte Executive Board, Millennial Advisory Board for Harvey B. Bantt, packs lunches for #HashtagLunchbag (Charlotte), and is Vice-chair in Junior League. BCG follows her lead by currently doing work for the Association of Fundraising Professionals for their NC philanthropy conference by offering marketing and public relations assistance. In addition, most of BCGâs philanthropy is through fundraising from itsâ own events.
BCG has lent its efforts in hosting events such as the âBeauty is in the Teacupâ Womenâs Empowerment Brunch where they sponsored 20 young women from local shelters who were abused, or sex trafficked. As well as, the Always Believe MVP Luncheon, another event that was hosted in order to raise money for the Always Believe Foundation to enrich the lives of students through tutoring, self-belief and life-skills training. Brittney, Ty, Jacqui and Megan are committed to connecting with the community and itsâ peers with the intention to sow kindness into the earth. The work isnât over as Brittney and Ty plan on contributing a gift to San Francisco this upcoming Fall that expands the reach of just impacting the Carolina area. They plan on leaving a gift that establishes a relationship with Californians while benefiting the community for the better. BCG is impacting the community in major ways and looks to continue to serve for the better of itself and itâ peers.
